Timmins, Ont., develops framework for hosting evacuees

The Northern Ontario community of Timmins is fine tuning its plan to welcome emergency evacuees during spring breakup and the fire season.

Stakeholders met this week to discuss their framework for hosting during an emergency evacuation of surrounding communities. The framework, created by Gervais Emergency Consulting, has been developed over a number of years.
