La Broquerie Fire Department promotes JC Normandeau to fire chief

June 20, 2024, La Broquerie, Man. — JC Normandeau has been promoted to fire chief for the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie in Manitoba.

Normandeau has been with the department for 32 years and has spent the last 19 serving as deputy chief.

He will replace retiring chief Alain Nadeau, who had been a firefighter for 45 years and served as fire chief for 22 years, The Winnipeg Free Press reported.

Nadeau’s last day of service will be July 1.
