Chief Ian Cummings hired by Peachland Fire Department

June 24, 2024, Peachland, B.C. — Fire Chief Ian Cummings has been hired for the top job at the Peachland Fire Department in British Columbia.

He previously was a member of the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Fire Department for 30 years, serving as the paid on-call fire chief from 2009 to 2017 and becoming the first full-time chief in 2017.

Cummings replaces Fire Chief Dennis Craig, who left to join the Kelowna Fire Department in March.
